Julia Lacovara, a rising second-year UVA Law student, has been working as an intern in the Chambers section of the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, located in Arusha, Tanzania.

Melissa Reilly-Diakun, a rising second-year UVA Law student, is interning with the Catholic Justice and Peace Commission in Liberia, helping to train communities about Liberia’s legal system and take on cases.

Clare Boronow, a third-year student at the University of Virginia School of Law, has won the Third Annual Human Rights Student Scholars Writing Competition for her paper examining the human rights responsibilities of Indian and Alaskan native tribes.
